Social History Conference, 2014: Panel on Everyday Lives

The Social History Society’s annual conference takes place next year at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle between 8 and 10 April.

I’m hoping to put together a panel of historians who work on everyday lives / emotional history using diaries, letters, magazines, etc as their main sources.  The papers can be from across any time period or geographical location, as long as they meet that criteria.  If you’re interested or just want some more information, you can email me at c.meehan2[at]herts.ac.uk or leave a comment below.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts to the Conference organisers is 31 October 2013, so please get in touch with me before then.  See the full conference CFP here.
